Dawn Hatch runs MATAX, Inc., the accounting and operations firm GuideOnce comes out of, and she teaches every GuideOnce program herself.

MATAX has been in practice more than 20 years and has served over 1000 SMBs and startups. All twenty of those years are Dawn's own, and six more before them, mostly startups, SaaS companies and professional services firms, usually as the entire finance function for an owner who has nobody else doing it. The firm was named Xero Advisory Innovator in 2025 and again in 2026, and AI Efficiency Champion at the Xero Awards 2026 US.

Those years are the reason GuideOnce exists. Dawn put AI into a live practice with real client records in it, under the same board rules and the same engagement letters her students work under. The first question she had to answer was not which tool is best. It was what happens to client information the moment it goes into the box, and almost nobody selling AI to this profession answers that one out loud.

So GuideOnce answers it first, then teaches the rest in order. Dawn has been a Certified Xero Advisor since 2013 and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 2006, and holds current AI certification from Anthropic, The AI Exchange and others. There is no teaching bench behind her and no contract instructors: every session, every cohort, is Dawn.

What she will not do is teach a claim she cannot back. Every prompt in the GuideOnce line was run end to end before it shipped, and every worked example in the files is a real run rather than an illustration, including the runs that came back weak. Those are in there on purpose. The part where the prompt argues with you is the part doing the work.
